it is with heavy hearts that tpg announces there will be no red bull flugtag this year, and thus we will not be able to break our world record flight of 08 until 2010. fortunately that just gives us more time to design next year’s record setter.
on a side note, after reviewing the 08 blog, it has come to my attention that we are in need of a new project so that we can continue to team blog throughout 09. someone make that happen.
Can you please have your team continue blogging about flugtag till next year’s team begins? I enjoy the entertainment.
AA. A common sentiment, I think.
So the monthly sales/engineering update meeting ended with video of the TPG “flight”. I’m pretty sure nobody at work has any respect for me anymore (not that they did in the first place). It was described as “WMPC engineering at its best”. Great.
Why today, three days later? No idea.
But props to New Style Flyers, whatever that Stanley Cup team was called and the Crusty Avengers for making #10 on today’s SportsCenter top ten plays of the day.
(and to Brother H for spotting)
Can we make this into a Where’s Waldo-esque game?!
DR - that could be how you remain interesting. Search Chicago.
Game on!

- My blog rocks.
Well played.
Now that its all over, I can say without question, all the hard work was definitely worth it. Although, we didn’t fly to Michigan as planned, I think it went extremely well. The car looked great, the girls looked great (thanks for taking one for the team), the skit was awesome (no practice). I wish I could have seen the edge of the ramp while I was in the car so I could have jumped with the wings level to the ground. Maybe then I wouldn’t have landed on the hood of the car. But I’m extremely pleased to only walk away with a few scrapes and bruises and not a broken limb like I’d been mentally preparing myself to have for the past 3 weeks. Highlights of the weekend….

Thanks to everyone that came out to watch us, and everyone that helped along the way. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever been lucky enough to be a part of. Hopefully we’ll see TPG out again next year in some new absurd creation.
